We took a mini-vacation to OKC last week and went on a "tour of museums" which I will write about soon but I wanted to go ahead and post this pic cause it was SO HYSTERICAL.
As we were packing the car for our trip, we discovered we had 2 stowaways who were trying really hard to blend in although they didn't know that we were taking them with us and dropping them off at the big farm to stay while we were gone.
We decided it looked like Maggie was saying . . . Annie, don't make eye contact and maybe they won't notice us.
We LOVE these pooches!

No More Leftovers
What happens when you eat dinner in the sunroom and leave leftovers of Chicken Fried Rice on the table while you take dishes in to be washed?
This . . .

Annie's Love Language
We really have enjoyed having Miss Annie surround our house
with love. Her love language is without
a doubt “touch”. She LOVES spending time
in Kyle’s arms and sitting on my feet.
She totally thinks she is a human child except my real human children
don’t drag EVERY cattle bone they can find in the neighboring pastures into our
yard. Yes, I have a cattle cemetery in
my front yard thanks to Miss Annie. I
guess she thinks OUR love language is “gifts”.
Annie has gifted us will ALL these cow bones. Some are old and some still have fresh meat on them. Yes, I said fresh meat. This dog is nuts. We thought there was only a couple bones in the yard but when we started picking them up to dispose of them, we realized there was enough bones to build a full skeleton. Teeth and all. Can’t wait to see what our next gift will be (do you hear the sarcasm)?

Miss Annie Oakley
WHAT IS THAT SMELL?
That would be . . . Miss Annie Oakley. We were at the big farm helping the in-laws
with a new barbed wire fence. The kids
and I were sitting on the 4-wheeler when Annie ran up from behind us as fast as
lightening. She started running around
in circles and her mouth was foaming.
The kids started yelling . . . WHAT IS THAT SMELL? Needless to say, Annie got an education on
skunks and why you should stay away from them!
She and the other dogs were crawling around a huge brush pile and
apparently there was a skunk living underneath it. It sprayed her right in the MOUTH. We tried to clean her up with GOOP which is
the orange stuff that mechanics use on their hands but you can’t use that
INSIDE her mouth. Talk about stinky breath. She survived and we survived our 45 minute
drive home with her cooped up in the car with us. What is next Miss Annie? I hate to ask.
*This happened 2 months ago and I swear I can still smell skunk on her.
